SITEC Quality Group is seeking an experienced Insulation/Painting Supervisor for a major petrochemical project in Antwerp, Belgium. 

Role Description:

The Insulation/Painting Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing insulation and painting activities within a large-scale industrial project. This role involves field supervision, subcontractor coordination, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that insulation and painting activities are carried out in accordance with technical specifications and inspection plans.

• Coordinate and supervise work teams and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety and quality regulations.

• Participate in preliminary tests and inspections for various insulation and painting systems.

• Ensure that materials used meet the required standards and are properly stored.

• Monitor the application of insulation and protective coatings, ensuring compliance with standards and contractual requirements.

• Manage non-conformities and coordinate their resolution with the relevant teams.

• Collaborate with the safety team to promote a safe working environment.

• Provide regular progress reports and propose solutions to potential challenges.

Requirements:

• Education: Technical diploma or degree in a relevant field. Specific certifications in insulation or painting are a plus.

• Experience: At least 5 years in a similar role within the industrial, oil & gas, chemical, or energy sector. Experience managing complex insulation and corrosion protection projects.

• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of insulation and painting regulations, inspection procedures, and quality standards.

• Language Skills: Good command of English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

• IT Skills: Proficiency in project management software and reporting tools.

• Other Skills: Leadership, problem-solving, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
