Protection Technology Expert

Sitec Quality Group is currently seeking qualified experts in Protection Technology for opportunities in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Location: Rotterdam Refinery                                                                                         

Duration: ~1 year (potential extension based on site projects)                                             

Responsible for commissioning and maintenance

  • Technical controlling
  • Parameterization and configuration
  • Carrying out commissioning tests
  • Maintenance planning
  • practical and theoretical knowledge of protection technology
  • system- and device-specific expertise in the functioning of primary and secondary technology in extra-high voltage systems
  • Knowledge of standards and regulations (e.g. IEC, DIN, BGV)
  • Knowledge of in-house guidelines (e.g. NNU, construction guidelines, TRN)
  • Fundamentals of electrical engineering and measurement technology
  • Knowledge of mathematical algorithms (e.g. linear and Boolean algebra, differential and integral calculus, complex calculus, statistics, probability, vector analysis)
  • Mastery of parameterization, evaluation and testing software
  • Basic knowledge of transmission protocols and bus systems
  • Knowledge of ISMS and IT security in critical infrastructure in connection with protection systems
  • Mastery of parameterization, evaluation and testing software
  • Knowledge of circuit documentation, circuit diagrams, functional diagrams

Commissioning and maintenance

  • Carrying out regular inspections
  • Construction supervision
  • Independent execution of installation and maintenance work
  • Carrying out commissioning tests
  • Preparing inspection and inventory documents in accordance with general instructions Extensive knowledge of systems
  • Practical and theoretical knowledge of control and telecontrol technology
  • system and device-specific expertise in the functioning of primary and secondary technology in extra-high voltage systems
  • knowledge of in-house guidelines (e.g. NNÜ, system design, TRN/50Hertz-technical guidelines)
  • Fundamentals of electrical engineering and measurement technology
  • Basic knowledge of ISMS and IT security in critical infrastructure in connection with substation control systems
  • Mastery of parameterization, evaluation and testing software
  • Knowledge of circuit diagrams, circuit symbols, functional diagrams
