We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Precommissioning Planning Engineer to join our team for a greenfield petrochemical plant project. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing precommissioning activities to ensure the successful startup of the plant. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, project management, and precommissioning processes.
Proficiency in English is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement precommissioning plans and schedules (L3/4) in alignment with project objectives and timelines.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless integration of precommissioning activities.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues related to precommissioning processes.
- Prepare a detailed precommissioning progress measurement system.
- Monitor and report progress of precommissioning activities, ensuring adherence to schedules
- Support the Precommissioning Manager in taking strategic decisions aimed at maintaining the timeline and beating agreed milestones
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of equipment and materials.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the project team during precommissioning activities.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on precommissioning status and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related field).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in precommissioning planning and execution, preferably in the petrochemical industry.
- Strong knowledge of precommissioning processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Proficiency in English is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering or Project Management.
- Professional certification in Oracle / Primavera P6
- Experience with greenfield projects and large-scale petrochemical plants.
