Now Hiring: Scaffolding Coordinator – Antwerp, Belgium (Construction Site-Based)
Are you an experienced construction professional with a strong background in scaffolding supervision and a passion for safety and quality? We are looking for a Scaffolding Coordinator to join our team in Lillo – Antwerp, Belgium, supporting large-scale industrial construction activities with a focus on compliance, coordination, and contractor management.

Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing and coordinating scaffolding activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards
- Ensuring that all scaffolding materials are approved and correctly installed by qualified personnel
- Supporting HSE initiatives by verifying method statements, JSAs, and work permit conditions
- Monitoring and inspecting ongoing works, addressing unsafe acts or conditions immediately
- Liaising with construction managers, field engineers, QC inspectors, and subcontractors to maintain workflow and address any technical or scheduling issues
- Reviewing contractor productivity, tracking progress reports, manpower presence, time sheets, and ensuring adherence to project timelines
- Leading the punch list and close-out process for assigned scopes, coordinating with the quality team to ensure final acceptance
- Managing technical documentation, scaffold inspections, and maintaining accurate records for modifications, extra work, and change control
Ideal candidates will have:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in construction site management, particularly in scaffolding supervision
- Solid technical knowledge of scaffolding standards, construction methods, and temporary works
- Strong understanding of safety procedures, with a VCA-vol certification
- Fluency in English (written and spoken), with good interpersonal and leadership skills
- High computer literacy (Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Navisworks preferred)
- A proactive, safety-first mindset and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
Physical and site requirements:
- Field presence is required for most of the working time; physical mobility across the site is essential
